Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-04

This Privacy Policy explains how Two Burner Games (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the mobile game Haru & Dako: Going Home (the “Game”) and the website haruanddako.com.

The short version

1. Information collected through the Game

We do not operate our own servers and do not receive personal information from you directly. The categories below are collected by our advertising partner’s software development kit (SDK) embedded in the Game. This table matches the disclosures on our App Store product page.

CategoryExamplesPurpose
Identifiers Device ID (advertising identifier, such as Apple’s IDFA or Android’s Advertising ID) Third-party advertising, analytics
Usage Data Product interaction (for example, when an ad is shown or a rewarded video is completed), advertising data Third-party advertising, analytics
Location Coarse location, derived from your IP address. We do not request precise or GPS location, and the Game never asks for location permission. Third-party advertising, analytics
Diagnostics Crash data, performance data Analytics, app functionality

Consistent with our App Store disclosure, this information may be linked to your identity and used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.

2. Information that stays on your device

The following is saved in local storage on your device and is never transmitted to us:

Deleting the Game removes this data from your device. Because we never receive it, we cannot restore it for you if you delete the Game or change devices.

3. Purchases

The Game offers optional in-app purchases. Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment card details, billing address, or Apple/Google account credentials. We receive only the confirmation that a purchase completed, so the Game can deliver the item on your device.

MIA Infinity subscription

MIA Infinity is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered as a monthly plan and a yearly plan. The current price for your country is shown in the App Store before you confirm. It removes ads, gives unlimited stamina, lets you replay levels you have already cleared, and unlocks the first level of every chapter.

The subscription is sold, billed and managed by Apple. We never see your payment details. What the Game receives from the App Store is a yes/no answer to “is this Apple ID currently subscribed?” together with which of the two plans is active. That answer is cached in local storage on your device and re-checked with Apple when you open the Game. It is never sent to us, and we hold no subscriber list or account of our own.

The subscription introduces no new categories of data collection. While it is active the Game stops requesting ads entirely, so the advertising identifiers and ad interaction data described in section 1 are no longer collected at all.

You can view, switch or cancel the subscription at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the benefits remain until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the Game does not cancel a subscription.

4. Notifications

If you allow notifications, the Game schedules reminders locally on your device (for example, when your stamina has refilled). No push server is involved and no device token is sent to us. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

5. Third parties

ProviderRoleTheir privacy policy
Google AdMob Serves ads in the Game, including rewarded video policies.google.com/privacy
Apple App distribution and in-app purchase processing apple.com/legal/privacy
Google Play App distribution and in-app purchase processing (Android) policies.google.com/privacy
Cloudflare Hosts haruanddako.com and serves it over its global network cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

These companies act as independent controllers of the data they collect and are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

6. Your privacy choices

iPhone and iPad. When you first open the Game, iOS asks whether you allow it to track you across apps and websites. If you decline, the advertising identifier is not shared and you will see less relevant ads instead. You can change this at any time: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can also turn off Apple’s own ad personalization under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.

Android. Open Settings → Google → Ads, where you can opt out of ad personalization or delete your advertising ID entirely.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Where required, the Game shows a consent form before any personalized advertising takes place. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time from the Game’s settings screen, or by contacting us.

California and other U.S. states. We do not sell personal information for money. However, sharing device identifiers with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising may be treated as a “sale” or “share” under some state laws. To opt out, use the device controls above — they apply to the Game immediately and do not require you to contact us. You may also email us at matt.hyzhu@gmail.com.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information relating to you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Because we do not hold an account for you, we usually cannot identify your data on our side. In practice: uninstalling the Game deletes everything stored on your device, and the device controls in section 6 stop further advertising collection. If you want data held by our advertising partner addressed, contact us at matt.hyzhu@gmail.com and we will help you direct the request to them.

8. Children

The Game is rated for general audiences but it is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at matt.hyzhu@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it.

9. Retention

We do not retain personal information on our own systems, because we do not collect it there. Data collected by our advertising partner is retained according to that company’s policy, linked in section 5. Data stored on your device remains until you delete the Game or clear its data.

10. International transfers

Our advertising and hosting partners operate globally and may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Those transfers are governed by the safeguards described in each provider’s own privacy policy.

11. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Because the Game keeps your progress locally and we operate no account system, there is no central database of player information to breach. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Game changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised policy.
